I chose to work with kids because I would like to do something along the lines of being a teacher when I'm finished with school. Some fun facts about me are I like golfing, and football, I have a dog named Echo and my favorite musician is Jack Johnson.

Hello, my name is Camden. I work at Laugh and Learn Beforecare and Aftercare with 3rd-5th graders at MLS. I choose to work at L&L to be able to make the end of kids' days fun by providing a combination of structure and free choice for students, emphasizing outdoor play whenever possible. I enjoy collecting Pokémon cards, playing video games, and drawing in my free time outside of work and college classes at SMCC.

Ny name is Colby and my hobbies are working on four wheelers and snowmobiles, going on long drives, swimming in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. I like to work with kids because it is a very rewarding job because I get to see growth and teach them life lessons I learned at that age and I still carry with me today.

Emy is a preschool teacher from Kennebunk. After graduating from SMCC, she joined us at Laugh and Learn in 2024. She loves making crafts for the kids, and leading fun lessons during circle time. Her favorite activity with the kids is designing custom coloring pages and making paper crafts. She works as a preschool teacher for the afternoon class, and the aftercare program.

Ciao! My name is Miss Fio. I was born and raised in Italy and moved to the United States 15 years ago. I love working with children and sharing my Italian culture and language with them in fun, engaging and meaningful ways. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time at the beach, cooking delicious meals, and dancing which is one of my greatest passions. I look forward to creating joyful experiences, sharing my love for Italian culture, and helping children learn and grow!

Hi! My name is Joanne, the children call me Ms Jo. I’m retired from working 20+ years in the Medical field, I then came across this position of working with children in the before & after school childcare program. I adore working with children, and find it quite fulfilling. I can say, at the end of the day, when recapping my day's events, I have a smile on my face! I love being and doing most anything outdoors. I like to travel, walk/hike, garden, read, watch a good mystery movie, play games, and most of all, spend time with my family. I look forward to working with your child!

My name is Kerry, I live in Freeport with my Husband, Joe, Oldest daughter, Megan, and 4 year old granddaughter Carleigh. I have another daughter Alexandra who lives in Charleston with her Fiance Connor. Joe and I have been married for 29 years and have lived together in Freeport for 28 years, though Joe grew up in Freeport and I grew up in Durham. We have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 3 chickens and fish. I always wanted to be a teacher and went to school for Elementary Education. However some life changes led me in a different direction and I have been working at Laugh and Learn for 22 amazing years. I have seen lots of changes in Education throughout the years and continue to believe that social, emotional and personal growth is what is most important in preschool. We learn through play and hands-on experiences. And I love the challenge of providing educational learning through these experiences.

My name is Megan and this is my sixth year as a preschool teacher at Laugh and Learn. My family has lived in Freeport for the past nine years. My husband is a tug boat captain and loves sharing pictures of his adventures with our three children and the preschoolers in our program. We have two children in middle school, Lucas and Lily, and our youngest daughter, Bailey, is in 4th grade. We are an avid sports family and I have been coaching ice hockey for 20 years. I also enjoy running youth sports and recreational camps, crafting, camping and going to the movies. Before joining the Laugh and Learn team I worked in elderly care and early childhood education. I love being able to create enriching activities and environments for our preschoolers and love seeing them grow and thrive in our community as they get older.

I love art projects like acrylic and water color painting, resin work, and now i’m getting into some bead work as well. I love spending time with my family relaxing at home, going on mini adventures, and just spending time together. I knew as a little child that I wanted to work with children, whether it be as a class room teacher, in a child care setting, or working with children who need help one on one, I’ve always known this is what I’ve wanted to do. Now when Im not in Laugh and Learn, I find joy in connecting with children who might need a little help learning in the classroom or need extra help navigating their big emotions and helping them regulate them. I find joy in connecting with the “tough kids” because they just need someone to connect with. And like Elle Woods says “I pick the dangerous one, because I’m not afraid of a challenge” A fun fact about me is that I am almost always wearing some article of clothing that has Lilo and Stitch on it. I have been collecting things with him on it for years, and have a huge collection. And out of all the gifts I’ve received over the years, I’ve never received any duplicate items!
