Community Programs Cancellation Policy


Cancellation Policy

RSU5 Community Programs reserves the right to cancel or consolidate any program that does not meet the minimum participant registration numbers. If we cancel a class or activity, we will do so at least five business days before the scheduled start date. If we cancel a course, we will return 100% of the class fee. We will credit an account for all refunds under $10. If requesting a check for a larger refund (cash refunds are not available), it may take three weeks for the refund to process. We begin to process credit card refunds immediately, and these typically show up on your card within a few business days.

Definition of a Refund: Returning the payment to the original payment method. Cash refunds are not available and Check refunds are only available as rare exceptions.
 
Definition of a Credit: Returning the payment as a monetary credit applied to your MyRec account which can then be used to pay for any other program listed on our website or in a current or future catalog.

Refunds for Regular Programs/Classes

• For all regular programs and class registrations, we charge a non-refundable, minimum processing fee of 5% (minimum $5 for all credit/debit card transactions)

• Full Refund (less the minimum processing fee) -- if you withdraw from the program five or more full business days before the start of the first class.

• 50% Refund -- if you withdraw from the program 3-5 full business days before it begins (for a class that only meets once).

• No refund will be given -- if you withdraw from a program less than three days before it begins (for a class that only meets once), or if you choose not to attend without notifying us. No refunds will be given if you withdraw after the program has concluded (for a class that only meets once).

• Full Credit (less the minimum processing fee) -- if you withdraw from a program due to conditions that we deem to be extenuating circumstances.

Refunds for Summer Camps

• For summer camp sign-ups, a non-refundable 20% deposit is required at the time of registration.

• FULL Refund (less the non-refundable deposit) -- if you withdraw from the program two full weeks before the first day of the session.

• 50% Refund (less the non-refundable deposit) -- if you withdraw less than two weeks and more than one full business day before the first date of the session (prior to 9am on the Friday before).

• No refund will be given -- if you withdraw from a program less than one full business day before the first date of the session (after 9am on the Friday before, or over the weekend), or if you choose not to attend without notifying us.
