Youth Tennis in the Parks - Learn and Play! Led by a USTA-approved coach, the Tennis in the Parks program will focus on developing the skills to serve, rally and play - so it’s perfect for beginners and first-time players. We focus on FUN and learning the basics through play. This program uses modified tennis balls, age-appropriate rackets and the latest engaging activities that help players successfully learn and play the game quicker.All players in their first session receive and keep a new age-appropriate racquet and ball! Please visit our Tennis in the Parks website, www.usta.com/newengland/tennisintheparks, for more information regarding the Learn to Play scholarships available for those in need of financial assistance, as well as USTA's Parent Support Guide and opportunities to volunteer.Youth Program Dates: 7/21 - 8/6/25 @ 9am, 10am, 11amRain Date: 8/11Adult Tennis in the Parks - Learn & Play!Led by a USTA-approved coach, participants will have fun and get great exercise while developing the skills to serve, rally, and play tennis. The program is perfect for first-time and beginner players, as well as returning novice players.Please bring your own tennis racquet. We're bringing tennis back for RSU5 middle-schoolers! This fun and instructional tennis program is for all students with an interest in the game of tennis. Sessions will emphasize fundamentals and mechanics, and is a fun way to learn the game or to sharpen skills. Practices will be held at the beginning of the season, and matches will be played against surrounding communities for the bulk of the season. *Meeting times are subject to change.
