8:00 AM - 9:00 AM    Little Hoopsters Basketball - Little Hoopsters - Grades K-1 (Freeport)
Looking to get your little one involved in the great game of basketball? Little Hoopsters is the perfect place to start! This co-ed weekend program is aimed at introducing the sport through fun drills and instructional games. Our goal is to give children the opportunity to try the sport in a fun, relaxed environment. Players will participate in fun drills as a group, but will be divided by age for instructional games. Parent volunteers are needed to assist with this program.K-1st Graders will play from 8:00-9:00am.1st-2nd Graders will play from 9:00-10:00am.*1st Graders have the option to choose which session they will attend. We suggest signing up for the session that matches the player's current skill as well as wants/needs for the season; the K-1 groups will mostly be focused on learning basic fundamentals, while the 1-2 groups may be doing more advanced drills and given the opportunity for mini games or scrimmages.

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM    Youth Ultimate Frisbee - Girls Only Indoor Clinic Series (Grades 6-12)
WINTER/SPRING INDOOR CLINIC SERIESNew this winter, we are offering multiple different clinic-style ultimate programs! All players must register below before participating. Please come prepared with a water bottle, a light and dark shirt, clothing appropriate for athletic movement, and a pair of indoor gym shoes - NO OUTDOOR STREET SHOES ALLOWED IN THE GYM.The Grades 3-5 Clinics and the Girls Only Clinics will be led by local Maine Ultimate or Freeport/RSU5 coaches who have been playing and involved with the community for many years. Join us for 6+ weeks of fun practicing the basic skills needed on the ultimate field!The clinics for grades 6-12 will be led by professional ultimate frisbee player (and one of our newest additions to the Maine Ultimate Community), Rowan McDonnell - check out his website, Excel Ultimate! Rowan will teach the basic skills as well as provide more detailed and strategic instruction for advanced players. Sign up for some amazing winter ultimate reps!HIGH SCHOOL SPRING LEAGUEUPDATED INFORMATION FOR THE SPRING 2026 SEASON WILL BE PUBLISHED IN OUR NEXT CATALOG IN EARLY JANUARYJoin the Freeport Ultimate program* and compete against other schools in this ultimate frisbee league! High school boys and girls teams will share the field in joint practices from 3:30-5pm on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. These sessions will consist of co-ed drills and scrimmages, as well as single-gender play so that players may learn how to play under both rule sets. Teams will have the option to split into separate gender divisions (Open or Girl-Matching) for games, and also may play in the Mixed Division for additional games if desired. Game days will take place on Tuesdays, with backup days (weather, other rescheduling) on Wednesdays and Thursdays. All teams have the option to attend single-day tournaments throughout the season, for an additional fee.Please note that participation in the High School Division also requires a Youth Membership with USA Ultimate (additional $40 cost).*This program registration open to players from Freeport, Durham, Pownal, ME Coast Waldorf School, PolandMIDDLE SCHOOL SPRING LEAGUEUPDATED INFORMATION FOR THE SPRING 2026 SEASON WILL BE PUBLISHED IN OUR NEXT CATALOG IN EARLY JANUARYThe middle school season will consist of two practices per week, with an emphasis on learning basic fundamentals, rules and strategy of the game. These practices will take place on Mondays and Thursdays at Hunter Road Field, beginning in late April. MS team players are also welcome to join the HS team practices on days the schedules don't conflict (Fridays). Players must sign up online using the registration below before attending a session. These sessions will be led by parent volunteers or coaches associated with our Fall Middle School team.Middle School Team (information updated for Fall 2025):Updated information and registration for the Fall 2026 season will be published in August 2026Following a successful pilot program last spring, we are excited to offer this new program this coming fall 2025! Middle schoolers can join this co-ed team to learn and develop the basic skills of volleyball, with an emphasis on having fun while playing the sport. The team will practice or play games against neighboring towns two to three times per week (specific days and times TBD). Please reach out if you are interested in helping lead this program!
