DISCover Ultimate Day!
DISCover Ultimate Day is a coordinated, nationwide effort of ultimate clinics hosted by local disc organizers around the country. These free clinics are designed to introduce the sport to middle-school-aged kids around the U.S., but they are open to anyone interested in learning about ultimate. Each participant will receive a disc to use during the clinic and to take home with them. DISCover Ultimate Day is sponsored by USA Ultimate, the national governing body for the sport in the United States.

Indoor Clinics with Excel Ultimate (Rowan McDonnell)
Come discover the exciting sport of Ultimate Frisbee! No experience is necessary — this program is designed for beginners and experienced players alike. Over six weeks, students will learn how to throw a frisbee, play fun games, and experience Ultimate through exciting activities and scrimmages. Led by local professional Rowan McDonnell, this indoor program provides a positive, inclusive, and energetic environment where everyone can learn, experience teamwork, and have fun!
Fall Youth Pickup
Join us for fun drills, games and scrimmages on the turf! No experience necessary; players will be grouped and/or split into teams each week for pickup style play. Coaches from Maine Ultimate and within RSU5CP will be available to teach as needed. Start time subject to change based on Turf availability.

HIGH SCHOOL SPRING LEAGUE
Join the Freeport Ultimate program* and compete against other schools in this ultimate frisbee league! High school teams will practice at Hunter Road Field in the 3-6pm time frame (exact schedule TBD). These sessions will consist of co-ed drills and scrimmages, as well as single-gender play so that players may learn how to play under both rule sets. Teams will have the option to split into separate gender divisions (Open or Girl-Matching) for games, and also may play in the Mixed Division for additional games if desired. Game days will take place on Tuesdays, with backup days (weather, other rescheduling) on Wednesdays and Thursdays. All teams have the option to attend single-day tournaments throughout the season, for an additional fee.
Please note that participation in the High School Division also requires either a Rec Affiliate Membership (additional $20 cost) or a Youth Membership with USA Ultimate (additional $45 cost).
*This program registration open to players from Freeport, Durham, Pownal, ME Coast Waldorf School, Gorham

MIDDLE SCHOOL SPRING LEAGUE
The middle school season will consist of two practices per week, with an emphasis on learning basic fundamentals, rules and strategy of the game. These practices will take place at Hunter Road Field in the 3-6pm time frame, beginning in late April (exact schedule TBD). MS team players are also welcome to join the HS team practices on days the schedules don't conflict. The coaches are working on organizing scrimmages, games, or tournaments against other schools - we will publish these dates/times as soon as possible and communicate via email for any extra game opportunities.

WINTER/SPRING INDOOR CLINICS
New this winter, we are offering multiple different clinic-style ultimate programs! All players must register below before participating. Please come prepared with a water bottle, a light and dark shirt, clothing appropriate for athletic movement, and a pair of indoor gym shoes - NO OUTDOOR STREET SHOES ALLOWED IN THE GYM.
The Grades 3-5 Clinics and the Girls Only Clinics will be led by local Maine Ultimate or Freeport/RSU5 coaches who have been playing and involved with the community for many years. Join us for 6+ weeks of fun practicing the basic skills needed on the ultimate field!
The clinics for grades 9-12 will be led by professional ultimate frisbee player (and one of our newest additions to the Maine Ultimate Community), Rowan McDonnell - check out his website, Excel Ultimate! Rowan will teach the basic skills as well as provide more detailed and strategic instruction for advanced players. Sign up for some amazing winter ultimate reps!
